Electronic ignition module replaced since I hooked it up backwards last week, lol

Finally got to start it with the new carb on! Fired right up! Just need to let it warm and tune it.

Also broke a distributor cap clip!

The original style inlet is often loose, can come out and start a engine fire. The rebuilt German carburetor on this upgrade has the screwed in barbed style fiting, see below and images.

“Screwed in barbed fittings,
Carburetor is tapped for the threads and the barbed fitting is screwed in for security. This replaces the push fit fitting that sometimes become loose.”
