distributor cap clip replaced
Broken distributor cap clip replaced, I have an extra one now, you never know when you might need it.
-
electronic ignition replaced, bug fired up! Broke something else!
Electronic ignition module replaced since I hooked it up backwards last week, lol
Finally got to start it with the new carb on! Fired right up! Just need to let it warm and tune it.
Also broke a distributor cap clip!
The original style inlet is often loose, can come out and start a engine fire. The rebuilt German carburetor on this upgrade has the screwed in barbed style fiting, see below and images.
“Screwed in barbed fittings,
Carburetor is tapped for the threads and the barbed fitting is screwed in for security. This replaces the push fit fitting that sometimes become loose.” -
carburetor swap!
The bocar 34 pict 3 replaced with a rebuilt solex 34 pict 3.
-
coil mount and new coil stickers
I added a coil mount and swapped out the old worn out stickers.
-
The Ebrake button popped off!
The button was easily replaced with a new one.
